About Leominster Youth Soccer
Leominster Youth Soccer is a non-profit organization, exclusively run by volunteers. The organization provides both Spring and Fall soccer programs for ages 4 - 18 in the city of Leominster, MA.
We handle the registration and team placement for over 700 children for each season. We have over 45 teams set up for the current season. Our in-town program is for ages 4 - 7 and the travel program is for 8 - 18 years olds.
The fields we play on are under the control of the City of Leominster. LYS funds the expenses for field and equipment maintenance, coaches clinics, insurance and affiliation fees to the state, and referee fees. We also provide annual scholarships to two participants of the program graduating from high school and attending higher education.
Programs
In Town
Our In Town program is for children that turn 4 prior to August 1 or will not turn 8 until after August 1. We have four divisions of play, one division for each grade level. Boys and girls play together on the same teams in the in-town program. All games are played on Sundays with Division 1 and 2 (6 and 7 year olds) practicing once per week. Divisions 3 and 4 (4 and 5 year olds) practice before their game on Sundays.

The schedule is comprised of games against other towns competing in the Nashoba Valley Youth Soccer League. Each team plays half their games at home and the other half visiting other towns in the league.
